The police officials in charge of Adiala Jail lost control of a man engaged in 20 robberies. In Rawalpindi, a suspect wanted for 20 robberies escapes custody.
Details indicate that the suspect forced the on-duty officer to unlock his handcuffs so that he could flee. While being transported from the jail to a nearby court, the suspect broke free. He had been detained and taken into custody following his arrest at Subzi Mandi police station.
Following the suspect’s escape, the administration of Adiala Jail called the Islamabad Police.
In Rawalpindi, a suspect wanted for 20 robberies escapes custody. Two police officers who were on duty when the accused escaped were detained by Margalla police station after a case was filed against the involved police personnel.
In related news, on Friday, the Regional Police Office (RPO) in Rawalpindi held a meeting under the direction of Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Aamir Zulfiqar Khan.
He instructed the officers to perform better by pursuing criminal elements quickly. According to the IGP, supervisory officers who do not prevent crime will not be allowed to remain in their positions.
