Indian minister’s accusations are rejected by Pakistan as “baseless and frivolous”

India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar made accusations against Pakistan on Wednesday, which Pakistan rejected as “baseless and frivolous.” Pakistan claimed that Jaishankar’s latest outburst was a result of growing resentment over India’s failure to demonize and isolate Pakistan.

The foreign office spokesperson stated that India had been engaged in a malicious campaign to deceive the international community for the past few years through a false narrative of victimhood and vile anti-Pakistan propaganda in response to media inquiries regarding a number of recent statements made by the Indian minister targeting Pakistan.

“This practice needs to end. India’s steadfast support of terrorism in Pakistan and the reality of state-sponsored terrorism in Indian IIlegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) cannot be hidden by India’s continued anti-Pakistan rhetoric. The spokesperson advised India to stop engaging in terrorism, subversion, and espionage against Pakistan rather than blaming others.

A dossier that provided concrete proof of India’s involvement in the 2021 terrorist attack in a quiet Lahore neighborhood was just recently made public. The Samjhota Express tragedy in 2007, which resulted in the deaths of over 40 Pakistani nationals on Indian soil, and the arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav, a serving Indian Navy Commander, from inside Pakistan in 2016, respectively, provided indisputable proof of India’s involvement in terrorism and sabotage that cut across decades and geographical boundaries, the spokesperson continued.
